About

I'm a painter in Greater Victoria — interiors, exteriors, trim and wood, plus decorative work: limewash, textured finishes and liquid metal. The thing I'd want you to know about how I work: most of what you're paying for on a paint job is already finished before the first coat goes on. Filling, sanding, scraping, caulking, masking. That's the part nobody sees and it's the part that decides whether the job still looks good in five years instead of two. Out here it's sun and salt water that get a house, so on an exterior I'll tell you straight what the surface actually needs before I put a number on it. I've also trained in Limewash and Venetian plaster and I'm taking that work on now. Paint's chosen for the surface rather than the brand, and I'll tell you which and why.
